Chinnannan is one special uplifting guy! He came to sit with me even though he knew I was going to ask him some questions and his voice was nearly gone!

After 22 years of Singapore and multiple tries at becoming a PR, he told me that he’d go back to being a farmer when returning to India! He’s a business man at heart, he assured me, and his sons should be a business man too.

His oldest one won’t though, he told me proudly, he will work in IT because that’s where the world is moving now. After all, it’s not important what you want so much as a parent, but mainly that your kids will be better off than you. It’s part of the Indian spirit!
